Pair Eyewear makes customizable eyewear geared toward children.

The company has already raised $3 million in venture capital, the Times of Northwest Indiana reports.

Founders Nathan Kondamuri and Sophia Edelstein, both 25, hope the national exposure of being on the show will provide a boost for their company, which launched in 2018.

Pair Eyewear’s products let children “change the look of their glasses by snapping on interchangeable magnetic frames,” according to the Times.

Edelstein told the Chicago Tribune: “Our mission is to make sure we create a pair of glasses that will empower and instill confidence and creativity in an entire generation of children.”

New York-based Pair Eyewear’s focus is on affordable eyewear.

In order not to spoil the show, the founders are not allowed to say what happened when they pitched the shark panel.

“It was definitely nerve-wracking, but we were pretty well prepped,” Kondamuri said.
