(PRESS RELEASE) BOCA RATON, FL AND RANCHO CORDOVA, CA — Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) and VSP Vision announced the VSP Vision Exam Rebate has expanded, enabling PECAA Max members to receive an additional $5 per VSP commercial eye exam. This move brings the total rebate potential to $15 for exams paid July 1 – December 31, 2025, up to $60,000 this year. The increased rebate — now available to doctors in Texas — is designed to bolster eye exam revenue amid economically challenging times.
More than 2,600 practices have already benefited from $45 million in rebates, with the new offer presenting current participants the opportunity to receive even more money for their current patient flow. Details of the program, which does not include any spending requirements, may be found here.

Jonathan Worrall
“PECAA and VSP Vision are fully committed to the success of private practice, and we are so happy that the Vision Exam Rebate is resonating with independent doctors,” said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “With economic uncertainty a frequently cited pain point among practice owners, the increased rebate lets PECAA Max members increase their revenue for the critical care they deliver to patients, allowing them to invest in building strong and prosperous businesses. We are especially pleased to extend access to the Vision Exam Rebate to eligible doctors in Texas.”
The Vision Exam Rebate launched in July 2023 and has since been increased and extended to help doctors meet the financial demands of practice ownership. PECAA Max members are enjoying an average of more than 800% ROI on their membership investment.

Natalie Ramirez, OD, FAAO, owner of Vision Care Center of Hawaii shares, “The VSP Vision Exam Rebate through PECAA is one of the ways VSP and PECAA are helping private practice doctors increase their bottom line. The extra money we have received from the rebate has helped offset rising practice costs. I strongly encourage every private practice that is seeing VSP patients to join PECAA Max and take advantage of this extra payment. The extra $10 per VSP commercial eye exam has really added up, and increasing the rebate to $15 makes it even more of a differentiator in the cost of running a practice.”
