Understanding Consumer Choices
The Vision Council’s new research report, Focused Insights 2024: Consumer Choices, explores the consumer decision-making process related to selecting an eyecare provider and purchasing vision care products and services, as well as examines changes in consumer choices and motivations between 2022 and 2024. This latest report reveals how consumers make decisions related to eye exams, online and in-store purchases, and prescription and non-prescription eyewear. It also highlights how salespeople and eyecare providers influence consumers’ choices. Some key findings include how many adults have had eye exams with remote doctors, an increase in consumers using insurance benefits before expiration, a jump in consumers purchasing their eye products online, and how important salespeople are in influencing eyewear purchases. The full report is available for download at The Vision Council’s Research Download Center and is complimentary for members, with a paid option for non-members. thevisioncouncil.org/research-reports
The Wheel Keeps Turning
