(PRESS RELEASE) SAN FRANCISCO, CA — RestoringVision announces the appointment of three directors to its leadership team to strengthen its impact in solving the global vision crisis. This follows a year of remarkable growth, in which RestoringVision expanded its reach by 48 percent in 2022. In 2023, the organization aims to reach over 4 million people living in extreme poverty with the vision services and eyeglasses they need to see clearly.
Katrina Posey joins RestoringVision as its Director of Finance and Accounting and a member of the leadership team. In her role, she’s responsible for the finances of the organization which is poised for significant growth.
Katrina brings over 25 years of experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors and has worked in different industries and geographies. She is an accomplished financial professional with a strong understanding of business operations, including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and leading financial professionals. Her oversight in the finance and accounting area will further enhance RestoringVision’s operational capabilities.
Prior to joining RestoringVision, Katrina began her career working for technology startups and then KPMG. Thereafter, she held several positions with increasing responsibilities in finance at The Coca-Cola Company before moving into the nonprofit sector.
Stephanie Godward has been promoted to Director of Marketing and Communications at RestoringVision and joins the leadership team. In September 2022, Stephanie led RestoringVision through a global rebranding and website launch. Stephanie leads RestoringVision’s brand management, thought leadership efforts, content creation and storytelling, media relations, PR strategy, social media, and more. She joined the organization in April 2022 as the organization’s Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing.
Prior to joining RestoringVision, Stephanie served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at The Salvation Army Western PA Division.

Shaun Starkey has been promoted to Director of Operations and joins the leadership team. In this role, Shaun will continue to direct and grow the Operations functions for RestoringVision, including the distribution center operations, shipping and logistics, inventory management, and product procurement.
Shaun joined RestoringVision in 2021 as RestoringVision’s Operations Manager. He is an accomplished professional in Operations with over two decades of experience. Prior to joining RestoringVision, Shaun served as the Operations Manager for Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, and has held other leadership positions within DHL and Big Lots. He has worked in transportation and warehousing since 2004.
