Four Boston Store locations in the Milwaukee region now have on-site optical shops under the name mEYEwear Optical.
The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. (Nasdaq: BONT), parent of Boston Store, now operates mEYEwear Optical at 20 of its locations, the Milwaukee Business Journal reports.
The eyewear shop, developed with VVOptique LLC, takes up only 150 square feet per store. Stylists and opticians work in the shops, according to the Journal.
The Bon-Ton Stores expects to eventually open mEYEwear Optical shops in 40 more locations.

The Bon-Ton Stores, with corporate headquarters in Milwaukee and York, PA, operates 260 stores, including nine furniture galleries and four clearance centers, in 24 states in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains under the Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers nameplates.
