(PRESS RELEASE) SECAUCUS, N.J. – Safilo announces the appointment of Jan Cory to the role of vice president of Sales for the Department Stores and Internet Pure Players channels for North America, reporting to Vittorio Verdun, president of North America, Safilo Group.
Cory is a well-respected and highly accomplished industry veteran who joins Safilo with over three decades of eyewear experience where she held a series of leadership positions of increasing responsibility.

Cory, who was named one of Vision Monday‘s Most Influential Women in Optical in 2015, has served as a past member of The Vision Council’s Program Committee and has held board positions with the Accessories Council and The Salvation Army. She is currently the Co-Chair of the Membership Committee of the Optical Women’s Association, serving on the organization’s Board of Directors.
