(PRESS RELEASE) SAN DIEGO, CA — Shamir Insight Inc., a leading provider of progressive and single vision lens designs as well as anti-reflective coatings, announced effective April 1, 2022 Pierson Ball, the Company’s director of Business and Strategic Development has been appointed as the new vice president of sales. Pierson joined Shamir in 2007 and brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role. “I am proud to have been part of the development and success of Shamir’s US sales group over the past 15 years and look forward to continuing to lead the sales efforts of one of the most advanced technological leaders in the optical industry,” says Pierson.
Furthermore, Mark Becker the company’s Vice President of Operations and Strategic Partnerships, will have an expanded role focusing on building stronger relationships with our Laboratory Partners and Key Customers. Mark joined Shamir in 2014 bringing many years of leadership experience including executive roles in business development, operations, marketing, and sales management and has also held equity roles in independent retail and wholesale companies.

As the final change to the executive team , Shamir announced that their Director of Marketing, Phillip R. Pasit has taken on new leadership responsibilities as the Vice President of Marketing, continuing to build Shamir’s strategic product campaigns and contributions to the top & bottom-line growth initiatives of the company. Phillip joined Shamir in 2020 with a portfolio displaying years of leadership in product marketing and sales synergy.
