Shopko Optical plans plans to open dozens of locations in 2021.
“Despite the pandemic affecting us, we were able to open 11 stores in 2020 and plan to open at least 50 in 2021,” said Donna Capichano, the company’s chief development officer.
The news came in a press release announcing Shopko Optical’s choice of the SiteSeer platform. SiteSeer Technologies is the creator of SiteSeer Professional site selection software and Void Analysis Pro. Tools include maps, trade areas, reports, customer analytics, site scorecards, hot spots and demographics.
Capichano said the company chose SiteSeer as its site selection platform once it opened 80 new locations in 180 days during 2019.
Monarch Alternative Capital acquired Shopko Optical in May 2019.
