(PRESS RELEASE) ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Vision Council and RX, co-organizers of Vision Expo, announce that submissions are being accepted for Innovation Stage speakers, presentations and panels for Vision Expo West, taking place September 14–17, 2022 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Expo & Convention Center.
“As we look ahead to Vision Expo West 2022, we are excited to invite the vision care community to lend their expertise to the Innovation Stage, the show’s main stage located on the Show Floor,” said Fran Pennella, Vice President, Vision Expo, at RX, co-organizer of Vision Expo. “The Innovation Stage will be one of the focal points of the Show — a destination to learn what’s next, be inspired, and connect with peers. We are pleased to expand the types of content that the community can share at this dynamic, exciting hub.”
To submit content for consideration on the Innovation Stage, complete the online application form located here. The deadline to submit content for consideration is Friday, July 15.
“As the vision care industry continues to adapt to a post-pandemic market, we thought this was the perfect time to invite the community to contribute to Vision Expo’s content line-up,” said Mitch Barkley, Vice President of Trade Shows and Events at The Vision Council, co-organizer of Vision Expo. “From new technology and advances in patient care, the industry is evolving in a number of ways and we are excited to present the most timely, relevant topics to the industry.”
Members of the vision care community are invited to submit content for the Innovation Stage that falls into one or more of the below categories:
- New technology/innovation/metaverse
- Clinical/medical
- Fashion and design
- Sustainability
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Mental Health
Vision Expo West’s educational program, developed by the Education Planning Committee together with OptiCon@Vision Expo, will open Wednesday, September 14, and the Exhibit Hall will open Thursday, September 15.
