(PRESS RELEASE) HAUPPAUGE, NY — Optical professionals were looking to make the most of selling rimless frames while advancing their in-office finishing practice can look forward to a series of free workshops held on Friday, March 22nd and Saturday, March 23rd by Silhouette in Santinelli International Booth at Vision Expo East 2019 in New York.

As an authority in lens finishing, Santinelli hosted free on-demand Silhouette assembly and adjustment workshops throughout the day at the Santinelli booth #LP4221. The demonstrations featured the company’s compact new LEXCE edger/blocker/drill unit, now one of the most competitively priced edgers in the all-in-one-class.

The workshop was in response to customer requests, as the functional and elegant appeal of rimless continues to be popular and optical professionals want to be able to service this demand in-house.

“Customers love the light, sleek look of Silhouette frames. But it presents challenges for some in-office finishers, as rimless finishing requires even higher standards of workmanship along with cutting-edge production techniques,” said Gerard Santinelli, president and CEO of Santinelli International.

“We’re proud to say that the LEXCE presents an ideal solution for customers with older edgers that can’t keep up with the precision demands of some frame and lens trends. It’s fast, it’s precise, it’s the versatile all-in-one many of our customers want and need. We’ll be offering some great ways to trade in or trade up at the show.”
