The National Federation of Independent Business released new data.

A report from the National Federation of Independent Business suggests that America’s small-business owners are feeling good about the economy.

The organization’s index of small-business optimism hit 105.8 in December, the highest it’s been since 2004, Bloomberg reports.

Even more striking was the fact that the index jumped 7.4 points from the previous month, the largest increase since 1980. Business owners reported feeling optimistic about sales and business conditions in the wake of Donald Trump’s win in the presidential election, according to Bloomberg.

The report was based on responses from more than 600 business owners.
