Its name makes clear what Denver-based Sports Optical is selling, which is a basic lesson of smart packaging. The latest addition to their roster is another example: The company has launched GolfRx, making it “the only company in the world to offer golfers fully custom and handcrafted prescription sunglasses made specifically for their needs on the course.” By “fully custom,” GolfRx means that an extensive one-to-one interview process is involved, in person, by phone or email. They also make staff available to visit golf clubs for group fittings or orders.
