Vision care startup Sightbox, whose annual membership service includes an eye exam, lens fitting and 12-month supply of contact lenses, has picked up another $2.4 million in funding, GeekWire reports.
The company, which is based in Portland, OR, has now raised $4.2 million in all. That includes $1.8 million in funding that it announced in November 2016.
GeekWire reports that the startup plans to use the new money to acquire more customers and to expand its staff, which currently consists of 20 employees, by 50 percent.
Sightbox markets its membership service for $39 per month to individual contact lens wearers.

Company founder Travis Rush has said Sightbox encourages members to visit their eye doctor once a year — and “we actually schedule the appointment for them.”
