Karoo looks like “an upscale travel outfitter.”
A new eyewear store in Atlanta is getting media kudos for having such an arresting physical space that its primary selling-point – all glasses, frames and lenses, are $149 – is almost secondary. Karoo, named after a region of South Africa by the South African partners who own the store, looks more like “an upscale travel outfitter,” says a local style website, praising the store as a “stunning” and “unique” interpretation of Karoo’s advertising tagline: “Life Wide Open.”
