New York-based Teka Eyewear has a new president.
Rescigna brings laboratory, retail and wholesale experience to the company. The company has named industry veteran Frank Rescigna to the role, according to a post on Teka’s Facebook page.
His background ranges from being the president of Marcolin Eyewear and other well-known brands to owning his own optical retail boutique, according to the post.
His LinkedIn profile lists former roles as vice president of sales for Wiley X, president of worldwide licensing for Guess?, president of Viva International Eyewear, co-owner of R Family Eyecare and, from 1995 to 2002, president of Marcolin Eyewear.
He “has the right set of skills to take our company to the next level,” Teka states.
Teka makes eyewear from materials such as buffalo horn, exotic wood, titanium and leather.
