Founded in 1976, the family-owned company has grown from a home-based startup into an internationally recognized optical resource with an impressive 11-brand portfolio spanning licensed and proprietary collections.
Its licensed brands include Vera Bradley, Badgley Mischka, Trina Turk, Mr Turk, Ducks Unlimited, Mossy Oak, XOXO and Life is Good. Proprietary brands include Jenny Lynn, Argyleculture and Totally Rimless.
The company continues to position its portfolio to support the needs of the optical industry, combining lifestyle-driven brand recognition with accessible price points and service-focused distribution.

To commemorate the milestone with industry partners, The McGee Group will host an in-booth 50th anniversary celebration in booth 819 at 2:30 p.m. E.T. on Thursday, March 12, during Vision Expo in Orlando, Florida. In addition, a multi-channel marketing campaign will feature company highlights throughout the decades.
