(PRESS RELEASE) ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Myopia Collective, an initiative supported by CooperVision and the American Optometric Association (AOA), is supporting Myopia Action Month by urging all members of the optometric profession to take action this September by becoming members.

Myopia Action Month, led by Myopia Profile, is a global initiative to unite eye care professionals and combat childhood myopia through free online seminars, lectures by industry experts, and educational resources. By joining The Myopia Collective, members will support this effort, demonstrating a shared commitment to advancing myopia management in practices and communities. Membership also provides access to specialized resources and opportunities, empowering ECPs to take action to make myopia management the standard of care.
