(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX — The OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and Vision To Learn announced a two-year extension of their eight-year partnership that provides children in need with vision care services to help them reach their full potential.

Through this partnership, OneSight provides annual support in the form of lenses and lab services, helping Vision To Learn scale its impact across the country and providing vision services directly to the students in need at no cost to the families. Since 2018, OneSight has partnered with Vision To Learn in more than 16 U.S. states, collectively helping more than 420,000 patients. As part of the renewal, OneSight will continue its annual support and also become the exclusive provider of lenses and lab services for Vision To Learn in both Texas and Ohio.

The two non-profits commemorated the partnership extension with an event at Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary School, part of Dallas Independent School District, in Dallas, Texas on October 22. Leaders from both organizations spoke about their commitment to continuing their transformative work together, and Assistant Principal Maria Nava highlighted the meaningful difference it makes in the students’ lives. During the event, nearly two dozen children were fitted with their new glasses as a testament to the impact of the partnership.

“We’re thrilled to continue our life-changing work with Vision To Learn,” said Becky Palm, Executive Director of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, North America. “Our partnership enables us to broaden our reach and provide more children with clear vision, unlocking opportunities for them in the classroom and beyond.”

“More than 3 million children across the country go to school every day without the glasses they need,” said Ann Hollister, President of Vision To Learn. “Our partnership with the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation aims to address this need and offer every child the opportunity to succeed.”
