Do you ever wish you could bottle some people’s energy to have a little for yourself? Sheena Taff is one of those people. In addition to running a successful Instagram account and founding the #EyeStyleInfluencers group, she runs her second-generation family-owned optical shop. She loves the “creative freedom of true independence without any corporate input on the products I can offer my patients” and “the fact that shopping — buying frames — is part of my job.” Of course, running a business comes with some downsides, like “staffing … although after 12 years I have finally found the best mix of talented employees” and “paperwork … I’d rather be working with patients!” She “un-wine-des” by cranking up the music during her hour-long commute before pouring herself some wine and snuggling her cats – “three ginger boys and one moody girl.” Working with her husband of 15 years also helps, “I wouldn’t have it any other way, it’s a great support to have him by my side.” If you see her around, ask her about the Red Sox or her pickle recipe and experience some of her energy for yourself.
