And it could actually become a product.
You see firefighters, veterinarians and other professionals represented in LEGO sets — but not optometrists.
That is, until now. Dr. Trent Cluny of Olympia Vision Clinic in Olympia, WA, has created just such a set, Thurston Talks reports.
It started out as a gift for his 6-year-old daughter. But now he’s taking it a step further, submitting the idea to the LEGO company.
Now the set stands a chance of becoming an actual product.

Thurston Talk quotes Cluny saying, “On Friday we uploaded the pictures and Sunday morning I got it approved. By Monday or Tuesday, I already had about 900 people supporting it.”
If the idea gets 10,000 supporters and is selected by LEGO, the company’s designers will tweak the set and it could land on retailers’ shelves.
The set includes optometry equipment and realistic exam-room furniture. Cluny hopes it will help children to look forward to visits to the eye doctor instead of fearing them.
