Vision Council Announces Billy Beane as Keynote for Executive Summit

(Press Release)

ALEXANDRIA, Va.– The Vision Council has announced that Billy Beane will kick off the 2017 Executive Summit with his presentation, “Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game,” setting the tone for an event dedicated to Data Driven Leadership tactics.

The event, taking place Jan. 25-27 at the Ritz Carlton, Orlando-Grande Lakes, Florida, takes an in-depth look at why and how to translate analytical results into business actions.

The line-up of speakers will reinforce the concept of how research, data and analytics can be used to innovate as opposed to merely validating. Attendees will gain insight into going beyond measuring and looking differently at statistical output to optimize products and services.

“Planning for the 2017 Executive Summit after last year’s extraordinarily successful Jim Collins keynote was a tremendous, yet well managed challenge for the Program Committee” said Kevin Cross, committee chairman. “After months of vetting speaker and content ideas, we are proud to present the 2017 program focused on one of the most relevant topics in business today: big data and business information. Attendees will have access to the top thought leaders in this area and leave with actionable tactics to drive your business forward.”

The Vision Council’s Executive Summit lets attendees convene with peers, share ideas and get a clear picture of our industry and where it’s headed. In 2016, there were over 330 attendees representing 168 unique companies.
