VSP Vision Partners With the Kentucky College of Optometry to Award $5,000 Vision of Hope Scholarship

(PRESS RELEASE) RANCHO CORDOVA, CA — VSP Vision, in partnership with the Kentucky College of Optometry (KYCO), announced Seth Clark as the winner of the $5,000 Vision of Hope scholarship.

“I am so humbled to receive the Vision of Hope scholarship,” said Seth Clark. “It has affirmed that I am choosing the path that God has set for me. As I start my journey into optometry school, I am grateful for the encouragement that this scholarship has brought me. I hope I can keep making my family proud in honor of my late sister and faith in Jesus.”

Each year, this scholarship is awarded to an incoming optometry student at KYCO at the University of Pikeville who is committed to practicing in the Appalachian region to provide care to underserved patient populations.

“It is an honor to work with a partner that shares our commitment to bridging gaps in patient care and improving access to exceptional doctors,” said VSP Vision Chief Provider and Industry Solutions Officer Michelle Skinner. “We congratulate Seth Clark on his accomplishments and look forward to celebrating his future contributions to the optometric profession.”
