Warby Parker is reducing its corporate headcount.
The company has slashed 63 positions, CNN reports.
In an internal memo obtained by CNNBusiness, the company’s founders blamed the cuts on “significant volatility and uncertainty” in the global economy.
“As a business, we must do our best to adapt, which sometimes involves making difficult decisions in the best interests of the company,” stated co-CEOs Dave Gilboa and Neil Blumenthal.
The reductions amount to 15 percent of the company’s corporate workforce, and 2 percent of its employee count overall.
