question:

What is your most effective strategy in maintaining office culture?
  • By continuing to practice it daily and consistently. Along with having the right people, I prioritize how the team member is doing and asking them what can be done better for themselves and the practice. Their feedback and suggestions are very important to the office culture — every person is critical in creating and maintaining the office culture by consistently keeping focus on our mission statement and vision of our practice. Lastly, and most importantly, it is mandatory to have fun. Just have fun. — Chun A., Rockville, MD
  • We actively solicit feedback, recognize achievements, and celebrate milestones with our employees. This harbors mutual respect and demonstrates a commitment to employee growth and development. — Riya P., Bellingham, WA
  • Reviewing policies, protocols, and procedures that define our office culture monthly. As well as having team-building activities twice a quarter. Kennard Herring, OD, Nostalgic Eye Care, Germantown, PA Meetings, meetings, meetings! Did I mention meetings? We meet often to communicate expectations between the office and team members because we are human beings that have as our common flaw—forgetfulness. — Santrell H., 3 Georgia locations
