CHARMANT USA Names Bill Hurst as New Sales VP

(PRESS RELEASE) MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — CHARMANT, known for producing top-quality, comfortable and attractive eyewear, has announced the promotion of Bill Hurst to the position of vice president of sales following the retirement of Jean Simone. Masakiyo Honjo, President and CEO thanked Jean for her hard work and dedication in building the CHARMANT sales organization over the last 16 years. Jean held the position of Vice President of Sales for the last seven years.

Bill Hurst joined CHARMANT USA in the position of Director of Sales at the beginning of 2020 and has over 30 years of optical industry experience. His strong leadership abilities were evident as he guided the sales force’s navigation through the challenging and uncharted terrain of 2020.

“I’m excited to accept this new challenge,” states Hurst. “It was a pleasure to learn from Jean Simone; and I am now poised and ready to take CHARMANT into a new era of growth as a leader in this industry, motivating our sales force to strive for greatness every day.”

Masakiyo Honjo further stated, “Bill has what it takes, he excels at motivation and communication. CHARMANT is primed for even greater levels of success. We’re excited to see what CHARMANT will accomplish with Bill as our new Vice President of Sales.”
