ClearVision Optical Named to Top 10 List of ‘Best Companies’ in New York State

(PRESS RELEASE) HAUPPAUGE, NY – ClearVision Optical, a Long Island-based eyewear distributor, announces that it has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State.

In February, ClearVision was nominated to the Best Companies list in the ‘Medium Sized Business’ category, defined as having between 100-249 New York-based employees. This year marks the fifth year that CVO has earned a nomination for this specific category, which is based on a statewide employee survey designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New York, whose practices benefit the state’s businesses, economy and workforce.

A public awards gala where winners were to be selected, was scheduled to take place on May 5, 2020 in Albany, New York. The gala, produced by SHRM, The Society for Human Resource Management, along with the Best Companies Group was postponed until August 5th, and ultimately conducted as a virtual gala.

ClearVision digitally joined 75 other organizations during the event, where all nominated companies learned their respective rankings within each category. Watching in anticipation, ClearVision was recognized as the 9th best place to work in New York State, marking a tremendous milestone for CVO in earning a top 10 placement among 21 other companies in the ‘Medium Sized Business’ category.

“Our ClearVision family has remained steadfast in our commitment to living the values of our organization and taking pride in delivering outstanding service while upholding the unique culture we share,” mentioned Jennifer Trakhtenberg, senior talent leader at ClearVision Optical. “We are incredibly fortunate to have such tremendous talent, and teammates that honor our commitment to service excellence for our customers and for each other. This remarkable recognition is a true testament to the strength of our team, and we are incredibly appreciative to be named one of the best companies to work for in New York.”
