Clerio Launches COVID-19 Program for Independent ECPs

(PRESS RELEASE) SARASOTA, FL – Clerio Vision announced a new promotional pricing program to assist independent eye care practitioners who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 crisis. The company will offer all its Extreme H2O six-pack products to these professionals for $5 per box, and with free shipping, for 30 days from the placement of the first order. Practitioners are expected to sign up for the program, which focuses on new Extreme H2O wearers. Orders will be shipped directly to the patient at no cost. The program begins immediately after sign-up, and is running through July 2020. This discount allows practitioners to capture significantly more margin on sales of new fits. Clerio has also begun selling N-95 masks and hand sanitizer at its own cost in order to help Extreme H2O customers to affordably get back up and running.

“With social distancing measures in place, independent eye care practitioners have had to cut office visits or close their offices temporarily,” said Alex Zapesochny, CEO of Clerio Vision. “We view these professionals as our partners. This program is a small way for us to help them get back on their feet.”

The Extreme H2O product line includes lenses in various diameters, with smaller lenses to more comfortably fit those with smaller corneas or narrower eyelids, and larger lenses for those with larger corneas or for improved sports performance.

Extreme H2O lenses retain up to 99 percent of their water content, minimizing dryness and itchiness often experienced by contact lens wearers.

“Our company has a history of building innovative products of the highest quality,” Zapesochny said. “This program will enable us to help more patients as well.”

In addition to manufacturing Extreme H2O lenses, Clerio Vision is working on its first multifocal contact lens using its proprietary Laser Induced Refractive Index Correction Technology, which is scheduled to launch in early 2021. It offers superior Fresnel lens diffractive optics patterns to correct presbyopia, myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and higher-order aberrations.
