Maui Jim Launches ‘Welcome Back to Retail’ Program to Support Independent Optical Retailers

(PRESS RELEASE) LAHAINA, HI – Maui Jim, independent leader in sunglasses and ophthalmic eyewear, is offering several incentives that will directly benefit US & Canadian regional retail accounts and their local communities. Additionally, Maui Jim is offering an exclusive program for the brand’s US & Canadian account executives across the country to support the efforts of independent retail partners reopening amidst the pandemic. Through this program, rewards can be received to help the retail partners generate awareness, excitement and goodwill internally and within local communities by showing gratitude to those who have demonstrated acts of courage, kindness and selflessness during this challenging period.

The ‘Welcome Back to Retail’ Program includes:

  • New Sun & Ophthalmic Account Wall Unit Program: Celebrating the newest Maui Jim customers, this program will give each retail partner access to new, in-store display units and bonus certificates for eyewear when they place a qualifying wholesale order of optical and/or sun frames. This will also make them eligible for the National Online Sales Incentive. The New Sun & Ophthalmic Account Wall Unit Program runs from June 1 – August 31, 2020.
  • 2020 National Online Sales Incentive: From July 1 – September 30, 2020, Maui Jim’s valued retail partners who qualify for the national online sales initiative have a chance to win a national grand prize – a trip for two to Maui, Hawaii. The retailer with the highest combined unit volume percentage and sales increase over the same time period in 2019 will receive an exclusive vacation. Additionally, Maui Jim has established a point structure to enable retail sales associates to accumulate points from every sale for a chance to receive a VISA gift card. The more they sell, the more they will earn.
  • Non-Prescription Sunglass Certificate: Retail partners that place a qualifying order will earn a certificate for a complimentary pair of non-prescription Maui Jim sunglasses for use towards a local charity or a local hero recognition program. This will run from June 1 – August 31, 2020.
