Ray-Ban Announces Blaze, a New Full-Metal Collection

(PRESS RELEASE) Ray-Ban has announced a pioneering new full-metal collection called “Blaze”.

Blaze introduces an innovative flat lens-over-frame construction that revamps iconic Ray-Ban shapes for a clean-cut perspective. Designed for “confident individuals who are not afraid to break the rules” according to Ray-Ban press materials, this eye-catching new lens construction redefines some of the brand’s classic styles. Blaze is being featured on iconic Ray-Ban styles including the Round, Clubmaster, Shooter and a provocative new feminine cat-eye shape.

Flaunting dark mirror shades in contemporary colors, this all-new flat shield lens construction redefines the unmistakable shape of the original Shooter for style hunters who are looking for a twist. Close on its heels, the evolution of history’s most defining shape – Round – also takes a sharp slant. Reimagining the bold profile of the original Clubmaster through the same new construction, Ray-Ban takes it up a notch by adding textural contrasts to highlight the sophistication of another timeless icon. Making sure that all bases are covered, a new cat eye shape explores the seductive power of sharp urban style with a luminous edge.

The Blaze collection is currently available on Ray-Ban.com for $175 to $195.
