The Vision Council Announces 2016 Executive Summit Agenda and Keynote Speakers

(Press Release) The Vision Council has announced the agenda, slate of keynote speakers, and the opening of registration for the 2016 Executive Summit – an exclusive annual event filled with executive-level networking, leadership development, economic trend reporting, and the latest business strategies.

The event will be held January 27-29, 2016 at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, FL.

This three-day event is a powerful resource designed to keep attendees aware of the industry landscape and help organizations chart a course for the future. Attendees will network with their peers and join leaders in business, research, and economics as they engage in important conversations about the direction of the industry.

The Executive Summit Program Committee recently made public that the opening keynote for the 2016 Executive Summit will be Jim Collins, who has authored or co-authored six books that have sold in total more than ten million copies worldwide including Good to Great, the #1 bestseller, which examines why some companies and leaders make the leap to superior results.

“We are thrilled to present our attendees with the most sought after leadership guru of our time,” said Mike Hundert, Executive Summit Program Committee Chairman.

“Jim is a student and teacher of leadership and what makes great companies tick, and will be a valuable resource for this Executive Summit and the leaders from across the industry who will be joining the event.”

Highlights of the 2016 Executive Summit agenda include:

Jim Collins, author; Good to Great and Built to Last: Join Jim Collins, the number one selling business author in history for an engaging and interactive morning of learning and sharing leadership tactics that stand the test of time and span the generations.

Jonah Berger, author; Contagious: Why Things Catch On: Research based insight on decision making, consumer behavior, word of mouth, and how products and ideas become popular.

Brian Beaulieu, economist, CEO, ITR Economics; Economic Update: Brian will share quick forecasts for the next few years and the associated “Make Your Move Moments”, as well as discuss the perceptions and habits of millennials, and the projected outcomes related to the economy.

This year’s event will kick off with The Vision Council’s annual golf tournament on Wednesday, and include an opening night dinner and networking event Wednesday evening. Thursday night will feature the annual Chairman’s Event and After Party.
