VSP Optics Rolls Out SunSync Plus Photochromic Lens

It’s available July 12.

(Press Release) RANCHO CORDOVA, CA — VSP Optics Group announces the launch of a fast-acting, high-performance photochromic lens.

SunSync Plus, an addition to the SunSync Light-Reactive Lenses portfolio, delivers the quickest fade-back time available, VSP Optics states.

SunSync Plus retains all the performance benefits of original SunSync, darkening quickly in sunlight, blocking 100 percent of UV radiation, selectively filtering blue light, and resisting scratches and smudging. SunSync Plus also features a one-year, 100 percent satisfaction guarantee for VSP Members. The lenses will be available exclusively with Unity Via Progressive Lenses, which launched in March.

“SunSync Plus and Unity Via are two of the most innovative advancements in lens technology, so it’s only fitting that this ultra-fast photochromic be paired with a progressive lens that’s easy to fit and offers effortless vision to the patient,” said Randy Dannewitz, vice president of strategic development for VSP Optics Group.

SunSync Plus will be available July 12. It can be ordered in gray in 1.50 plastic, 1.59 polycarbonate, and 1.67 high index. More product information is available at www.sunsynclenses.com.
