Zyloware Announces the Promotion of Janna Neal and George Sticos

(PRESS RELEASE) Zyloware announces the promotion of Janna Neal to senior vice president of operations and George Sticos to senior director, global operations, where they will continue the oversight of Zyloware’s operations and sales divisions.

Joining the Zyloware family over 20 years ago, Janna Neal is the Senior Vice President of Operations for Zyloware where her duties change drastically from day to day. Known as cool, calm, and collected, Janna works with leadership teams to formulate policies, manage operations and plan for the company’s overall success.

James Shyer says, “As a young woman 20 years ago, Janna applied for a job with us for a part-time receptionist position. 20 years later she is running the operations of our entire organization. Janna has earned the love and respect of everyone that works with her both in and outside of Zyloware.”

Christopher Shyer says, “Janna’s work with organizations such as the OWA and The Vision Council has made her an industry superstar as an advisor and mentor to so many. Janna has certainly earned her elevated position within our company, and we are so proud to have the opportunity to work with her on a daily basis.”

Janna is a current member of The Optical Women’s Association Board of Directors and was one of Vision Mondays 2018’s Most Influential Woman in the Mentor Category.

Janna graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business after spending 2 years majoring in graphic design at New York Institute of Technology (where she learned she gravitated more toward the behind-the-scenes operations of a business). She spends her spare time reading (hardcover books), watching crime shows, and recently found a love for yoga (the quietness is so soothing). She is starting to be a plant mama (but she admits she hasn’t quite mastered that yet).

Joining the Zyloware family over 29 years ago, George Sticos has been promoted to Senior Director of Global Sales Operations. In this role, he will oversee the daily operations and sales functions for Zyloware’s Global Sales and Customer Service teams. His knowledge and leadership skills have been integral in developing and implementing company strategies. He oversees a team of 7 who are critical in the overall experience of our customers and continues to exceed expectations. His understanding of both the sales processes and Zyloware’s overall business strategies have been key in his success.

James Shyer says, “George chose to spend his professional career with us back in 1993 and has been a key member of our family ever since. It has been a pleasure working closely with George for my entire professional career as well.”

Christopher Shyer says, “He has the meticulous task of ensuring our global sales team has the support necessary to take care of every aspect of our customer needs, which he and his team do by utilizing George’s unique and precise attention to detail. George has absolutely earned his new elevated role within Zyloware, and we look forward to working with him for many more years to come.”

George has received a Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University. He is an avid golfer and collector of anything vintage but most of all loves to spend time with his family and travel.
