$100K in Eyeglasses Taken in DC Robbery

Over $100,000 in merchandise was stolen from Georgetown Optician in Washington, DC.

Police said multiple people were involved in the March 7 robbery, WUSA-TV reports. The suspects led police on a car chase that ended in a single-vehicle crash.

One suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested on March 8. He was charged with unarmed robbery of an establishment.

The suspects reportedly forced their way into the business and took merchandise from a display case.

The exact number of suspects is not known.
