$30K in Eyewear Stolen from Texas Optometry Office

Eyewear worth $30,000 to $35,000 was taken in a burglary in Boerne, TX.

It happened at about 2 a.m. on Sept. 5 at Boerne Vision Center in Fair Oaks shopping complex, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office: “Deputies arrived and discovered an unknown suspect broke the front of the glass door at the Borene Vision Center in Fair Oaks shopping complex. The suspect utilized a hammer to shatter the glass, before pushing his way in with a large black storage tub.”

The suspect in a vehicle that “is believed to be a 2003 white Ford Econoline Cargo Vane with an unknown license plate, and no front license plate,” police said.
