A&A Optical Celebrates Golden Anniversary

(PRESS RELEASE) CARROLLTON, TX — What started as a two-person shop serving the Texas optical market has grown into a third-generation organization serving Optometrists, Ophthalmologists and eye care retailers throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, Latin America, South America, and the Caribbean. A&A Optical is excited to begin its yearlong celebration of fifty years in business.

Half a century ago, Alexander and his wife his wife, Agnes (A & A’s namesakes), the founders who set the tone of the company’s customer-centric culture and philosophy, began operating their eyewear business in Dallas, distributing frames throughout Texas. Three years after inception, Alexander and Agnes were developing and importing their own collections. Robert, the son of Alexander and Agnes, worked his way from the ground up, traveling and building the business for sixteen years as a sales representative, and in 1998, became company president. Since taking the reins, Robert has grown the business to what it is today with ten established collections. In 2014, third generation, Aaron, grandson of Alexander and Agnes, joined the company full time.

President and CEO, Robert Liener is extremely proud and honored by this milestone. He often thinks of his father (of blessed memory) and what he taught him through the years. “My father would have been very proud of the fact that we achieved fifty years. The future looks very bright for A&A in the next fifty years. I have been fully involved with A&A for almost forty years, and I am so excited about our prospects in 2021 and beyond.”

As A&A Optical turns fifty, A&A Optical’s vision and commitment to exceptional service, quality of product, and relationship building, continues to drive the company in all facets including customer service, sales, operations, shipping, product development, and beyond. “Our focus in 1971 was serving the ECP’s and continues to be so, in 2021. While 2020 was challenging for so many around the world, A&A took the opportunity to challenge ourselves to find ways to improve all facets of the company to benefit our customer base, sales team, vendors, and employees. I am so thankful that we have been able to accomplish these tasks during these difficult times; to help our customers.

President and CEO, Robert Liener looks to the future: “I want to thank our loyal customers. We look forward to continuing to serve you with the “Ultimate Eyewear Buying Experience” for many years to come.

A&A Optical will reward customers for their continued patronage with hidden Golden Tickets in frame shipments throughout 2021. Who will be the lucky finders?
