AEG Vision Partners with North Suburban Vision Consultants

(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX — AEG Vision, a leading owner and operator of premier Optometry Practices across the U.S., announced that it has acquired North Suburban Vision Consultants in Deerfield, IL. North Suburban Vision Consultants (NSVC) is a preeminent specialty practice in the greater Chicago area. Patients from across the United States travel to NSVC to receive premier care from its medical team of Ophthalmologists and Optometrists, led by Dr. S. Barry Eiden.

“The goals for the future of our practice are clearly shared by AEG Vision, our doctors and our staff,” said Dr. S. Barry Eiden. We have a multi-specialty eye care practice that is dedicated to advanced technologies and the most current evidence-based eye care available. Through our partnership with AEG Vision, NSVC will continue to grow and share our knowledge with other practices in the AEG Vision family. Our bright future simply would not have been possible staying as a lone independent eye care practice.”

“AEG Vision is honored to welcome NSVC into its growing network of premier practices,” said Eric Anderson, CEO of AEG Vision.“ AEG Vision has developed a unique support system combining technology and world-class leadership that propels each of our practices to new heights in performance and record levels of patient satisfaction. Additionally, the AEG Vision platform has proven successful for medically-oriented, specialty practices such as NSVC, where patients travel from across the United States for precise, complex care.”

“Although practices benefit from common technology, AEG Vision strives to maintain the doctor’s clinical autonomy while making significant investments in equipment and resources,” said Joe Terzo, Chief Development & Strategy Officer of AEG Vision. “AEG’s commitment to the success and winning culture of our family of practices has created a reputation in the marketplace that speaks for itself.”

“AEG took great interest in what was important to us and our future,” added Dr. Eiden. “In fact, they recommended that we take our time to consider all things that we wanted to achieve from a partnership with AEG Vision. They committed to do everything possible to achieve those goals and, ultimately, this is what they are doing. From our initial discussions, through due diligence and now into integration, the experience has been wonderful.”

The AEG network now has more than 250 partner practices across 12 states including a significant presence in Illinois, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Colorado.

Due to high interest from potential partners, AEG Vision expects to accelerate growth through the remainder of 2021. More information on AEG Vision’s partnership model can be found at aegvision.com/transition
