Applications for the 2023 Transitions Change Agent and Student Ambassador Programs Now Open

(PRESS RELEASE) PINELLAS PARK, FL — Applications for the 2023 Transitions Change Agent and Transitions Student Ambassador programs are now being accepted online until December 31, 2022. Industry professionals interested in becoming a Transitions Change Agent can visit here. Optometry students interested in becoming a Transitions Student Ambassador can visit here.

Transitions Optical is recruiting eyecare professionals as well as a select group of social-savvy Optometry students who are looking to change the conversations their peers and patients are having around Transitions lenses. To apply, candidates must complete an application form and detail why they want to become a Transitions Change Agent or Transitions Student Ambassador, what they hope to accomplish by participating in the program, link their social media profiles and answer a few additional questions.

“We are looking for industry professionals who have a passion for creating partnerships, and building a social presence,” said Arlene Segovia, marketing manager, trade communications, Transitions Optical. “We are looking to create a community of advocates to share product knowledge with their peers.”

About the Transitions Change Agent Program
Change Agents will be invited to attend the annual Transitions Academy in Orlando, Fla., one of the industry’s most well-recognized educational events, where they will meet and network with fellow Transitions Change Agents. Through the program, Change Agents will also be able to participate in professional development and product technology workshops. Additionally, all Change Agents will receive and evaluate a free trial pair of Transitions lenses.

About the Transitions Student Ambassador Program
The one-year program provides Transitions Student Ambassadors with opportunities to learn about photochromic technology and participate in the annual Transitions Academy event in Orlando, Fla. Student Ambassadors will also receive a trial pair of Transitions lenses to evaluate. Students will also have the opportunity to engage and network with an assigned mentor, industry leaders and fellow students.
