Bone-Conduction Sunglasses Become Reality Thanks to Crowdfunders

 

Startup obliterates fundraising goal.

A company called Zungle has incorporated the technology of bone-conduction headphones into a stylish pair of sunglasses, Mashable writes. If you’ve never tried bone-conduction headphones before, then the technology might seem a little unusual, but the video below does a good job of demonstrating how the sunglasses work. The article says that Zungle has raised $139,000 from more than 1,220 backers, far exceeding its $50,000 goal. The shades carry a $150 price point (or $99 early bird special), with the first deliveries expected to arrive by November.
