ClearVision Optical Named to New York State’s ‘Best Companies’ List for 2020

(PRESS RELEASE) HAUPPAUGE, NY – ClearVision Optical, a Long Island-based eyewear distributor, announces that it has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State for 2020. Making the list in itself is an honor, but to now be recognized for a fifth time shows a true commitment to innovation and adherence to CVO’s founding values. This award falls on the heels of having also been named to Newsday’s list of Top Long Island Workplaces in late 2019.

Created in 2007, these celebrated annual awards are part of a distinctive program that evaluates and ranks the best places of employment. It is often said that culture is a competitive sport; this statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New York, whose practices benefit the state’s businesses, economy and workforce.

ClearVision will join 75 other organizations at a public awards dinner to be held at the Albany Hilton on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. During the event, all nominated organizations will learn where they rank within their company’s size category.

ClearVision will compete against 21 other New York workplaces in the ‘Medium Sized Business’ category, defined as having 100-249 New York-based employees.

“We take tremendous pride in our culture and welcome the opportunity to attract talent with similar values,” stated Jennifer Trakhtenberg, Senior Talent Leader at ClearVision. “As a learning organization that is committed to identifying ways to improve, participating in the Best Companies to Work For gives us a great chance to discover best practices from other organizations that also recognize our first customers are our employees.”

A formal press release with ClearVision’s final ranking will be sent in early May. In the meantime, for additional information on the Best Companies to Work for in New York State program, including the entire list of nominated companies, please visit BestCompaniesNY.com.
