Costa to Offer OCEARCH Trip Sweepstakes at Vision Expo East

Chris Fischer of OCEARCH will be on hand.

(Press Release) DAYTONA BEACH, FL – This year at Vision Expo East, Costa will be offering eyecare professionals an opportunity to win a trip to join the OCEARCH team on their boat in New York this August. All VEE attendees can also meet founding Chairman and expedition leader Chris Fischer of OCEARCH at the Costa promotional booth (#2400) during a booth happy hour on both March 31 and April 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The trip is offered in connection with Costa’s partnership with OCEARCH, a group of explorers and scientists dedicated to generating previously unattainable data on the movement, biology and health of sharks. ECPs can stop by the Costa booth at any time during VEE to have their badges scanned to be entered for a chance to win the trip, which occurs anytime from Aug. 4 to Aug. 25, 2017. The sweepstakes prize includes air transportation, $500 spending money, ground transportation to/from the airport/hotel and a two-night hotel stay.
Fischer will be on hand at the Costa booth happy hour to meet and greet attendees and will talk about shark science and the positive impact being made on the ocean’s ecosystem. The happy hour will feature drinks, appetizers and live music.
“We are very excited to be able to offer ECPs this truly unique opportunity to join Chris Fischer and the OCEARCH team in New York. Environmental protection—especially for our seas—is a big focus for Costa,” says Terri Ossi Hannah, senior marketing manager at Costa. “Allowing people to meet Chris is a great way for the public to see the importance of what he does, and what Costa supports, every day.”
Attendees can visit a Costa representative at Booth #2400 for full trip details and sweepstakes Official Rules. Non-attendee ECPs can enter by emailing costaocearch@dja.com. For more information on OCEARCH, visit http://www.ocearch.org.
