De Rigo REM & John Varvatos Announce the Renewal of License Agreement

(PRESS RELEASE) LOS ANGELES, CA — De Rigo REM, the US subsidiary of De Rigo, one of the world leaders in eyewear, announces a multi-year extension of the exclusive licencing agreement for the design, production and distribution of John Varvatos prescription frames and sunglasses globally. Under the new agreement, De Rigo REM will also be responsible for the development and distribution of the brand’s younger, casual line — Star USA, that will launch in select national chains this summer.

Rooted in Rock n’ Roll, John Varvatos is an iconic menswear designer brand that occupies a unique place in the landscape of American design. Offering tailored clothing and sportswear, the brand has expanded into a full lifestyle of products which includes accessories, footwear as well as luxury skincare and fragrances. Marking 15 years of collaboration between De Rigo REM and John Varvatos, the renewal further strengthens the partnership that was forged in 2006 and reinforces the company’s dedication to growing the brand’s presence in the optical channel.
