(PRESS RELEASE) “It is not only the Milanese spirit that unites the two brands but also being authentically made in Italy,” explains Luca Lavezzari, at the helm of EPOS with his wife Stefania Mantovani. “This operation has two-fold objectives at its heart, one linked to the desire to complete our offer with a range of glasses complementary to EPOS – with more fashionable, colourful and feminine features – and the other is a lot more sentimental, so to speak. I remember my first visits to Mido: T-look was an institution that I looked at with admiration and over time a wonderful friendship with Marco Tabacchi flourished. He made history: who doesn’t remember his stands at trade fairs or the collaboration with Arrigo Sacchi and the great Milan football team in the 90s?”

Timeless elegance, fine materials and outstanding attention to detail. Since 2003, these characteristics have guaranteed the success of EPOS, a collection born out of the desire to create timeless accessories with harmonious shapes and muted, natural colors that owes its name to an elegant English archaeologist visiting Milan. Today, the collection is composed of seven lines – EPOS Classic, Chorus Line, Leggenda, Epic Wood, Epica, Proxima and I love Eco – constantly updated and revisited, distributed in over 20 countries with a network of distributors and agents for its thousands of customers and items sold. Each model reinterprets the archival classics with avant-garde materials and always understated combinations, opting to tread the path of timelessness over trends. The acquisition of the historic T-look brand will allow EPOS to expand its offer with products with intrinsic characteristics – Italian style, craftsmanship and great attention to detail – very similar to EPOS’s DNA but with a different, colourful and ironic style intended for a very mixed target.

Effective from 1 January 2022, the acquisition aims to relaunch the historic Milanese brand. A style office dedicated to the study and design of the new T-look collections will work alongside the EPOS team of designers at the brand’s historic headquarters in Milan’s via Watt. Distribution will be entrusted to the EPOS sales network which will then be able to propose alternative and complementary collections to those traditionally offered. The first T-look collection under the aegis of EPOS will be officially presented at Mido 2022.
