Eyewear Company Gets $1M in Funding

It will spend the money on marketing.

Pair Eyewear has received a $1 million influx of funding, TechCrunch reports.

The company makes customizable glasses for children. The seed round comes from several investors, including Corigin Ventures, Bolt Ventures, Precursor Ventures and Outbound Ventures.

The company’s launch took place in October 2017. With the new round, it’s received $1.15 million in total, according to TechCrunch.

New York-based Pair Eyewear’s focus is on  affordable eyewear. Much of the new funding will go toward marketing, the company said.

Co-founder Nathan Kondamuri said, “We want to change the narrative around what glasses can be for kids, and that mission and focus will set us apart and drive us on a different path [from competitors].”
