Eyewear Line Touts Indiana Roots

It is the first eyewear produced in that state.

Like eyewear from Gucci and Chanel, Jamal Robinson´s new sunglass line from DESAIR touts the brand´s place of origin: Fort Wayne. His #MadeinIndiana line of cherry-wood frames, the first eyewear to be manufactured in that state, he says, showcase a “Hoosier mentality” that the designer, who began his career making frames at his kitchen table, describes as “resilience, hard work, never giving up.”
