Eyewear Maker Moves HQ to a New City

The new spot “felt like us.”

Native Eyewear, a Costa Sunglasses company that makes sunglasses and goggles for outdoor enthusiasts, has left its Denver home for a headquarters 38 miles away in Longmont, CO.

John Sanchez, general manager for Native, said the company had been searching for a place that “felt like us,” the Daily Camera reports. Seven employees made the transition.

“We found this great collaborative mindset, and people here love the outdoors,” he said of Longmont, which is located in Boulder County. “What we saw in Longmont was a community we could be a part of.”

Native’s manufacturing will continue to be located in Daytona Beach, FL, according to the Daily Camera.
