Calvin Klein, because of the eye popping colors. Dr. Haley Menge, Hi-Line Eye Care, Glasgow, MT

We always sell Charmant frames really well. Our patient base is mostly an older cataract surgery post-op crowd since we are mostly a medical practice. They love Charmant frames because they are titanium, lightweight, and most have spring hinges. The hottest sunglasses were definitely Ray-Ban. We ran a promotion that if you buy a full pair of glasses with RX lenses, the Ray-Ban frame would be 50 percent off. They were flying off the shelves! Ashlie Dorminey, Optical Associates, Valdosta, GA

Toms. We opened an account at VEW and have already sold out of our ophthalmic frames. They’re great styles with the same one-for-one promise as the shoes. Tory Burch alternative fits have been hard to keep in stock. We have a large population with a small nose bridge and this fits their need perfectly. Josh Bladh, Dr. Taylor Bladh, Diamond Bar, CA

Jonathan Cate is doing very well — lots of hot colors!! Kathy Maren, Combs EyeCare and EyeWear, Western Springs, IL

Ray-Ban’s 5228 in the matte colors. We can’t keep them in stock. Kristen Atkins, Clinton Family Eye Care, Clinton, NJ

Article One’s Sierra Leone was an unexpected hit the moment it graced our displays. Our new line of Article One frames we stocked Monday morning at 8 a.m. and this was the first frame out the door. The look is sleek and distinguished. Who knew small town Georgia would be among the first to sell this fashion forward frame. Dr. Blake Hutto, Family Vision Care, Alma, GA

Michael Kors and Coach. We had a trunk show. In sunglasses, Kate Spade and Prada. Jessica Brundidge, Clarity Vision, Clayton, NC

Oliver Peoples. Because, Oliver Peoples. Orgeen. The opticians LOVE this collection and their enthusiasm translates into sales. Etnia Barcelona. There is no replacement for the colors and attention to detail. Plus they make amazing social media photos. Dr. Tanya Gill, Oakland Vision Center, Oakland, CA

We are selling more Polo and Tom Ford, and Salt Life sunglasses are doing well in our salt fishing coastal area. Daniel Amyx, Hillmoor Optical, Port St. Lucie, FL

Cartier sold well across the board this month. Even though October is usually a slower month the higher end product sold well. Robert Marc men’s sunglasses. Great colors. Wendy Salle, Salle Opticians, Atlanta, GA

In sunglasses, Coach. Great price point and they are so classy. Rexanne Collier, Texan Eye Optical, Austin, TX

Our practice recently teamed up with L’Amy to carry their Ann Taylor, Nicole Miller and Sperry frames. Not only are these colorful and well made frames, but L’Amy is running a promotion through the end of the year where for every frame purchased, they will donate the same frame to a person in need. Leslie Boyd, Village Eye Care, Raleigh, NC

Swissflex and Rye & Lye’s Murano glass models did well in October. Porsche Design, especially the 8542 in gold, about as sexy as a man’s sunglass can get! Bryan Finley, Island Opticians, Palm Beach, FL

Bobbi Brown, The Isabelle in Camel Tort. It is a cat eye shape and they are back in style. Hot look. In fashion. Anke Andrzejewski, The Eye Specialist, Virginia Beach, VA

Entire Dior Montainge line. Fun, unique shapes and great colors. Numerous pairs sold to employees as well! Erin Pilsbury Shasta Eye Medical Group, Redding, CA
