FUNNY BUSINESS

I thought you guys had a section something like “All in a Day’s Work”? I know I have read funny stories that have happened in ODs offices, optical shops, etc. I want to know what the section is called and how to search for the stories — and also, how to submit stories. Chloe Tauaefa, Custom Eyes, Frisco, TX

ED: Chloe, you’re probably thinking of our True Tales feature, which you’ll find this month here. If you have a True Tale to share, email us at editor@invisionmag.com.

SWEETEN THE DEAL

So far, the only suggestion I have to make the magazine better is to include a box of fine dark chocolates with every issue. Daniel Amyx, Hillmoor Optical, Port St. Lucie, FL

I love every issue. Amazing that you can continue to come up with unique ideas to help better our practices. Loved the “Go for the Goals” article. Inspiring! Dr. Cynthia Sayers, EyeShop Optical Center, Lewis Center, OH

Like always, it was great! I find myself going back to previous issues and finding great ideas and articles that inspire me and my business. I would love to see some original eyewear displays. Businesses sharing how they decorate for every season or for a particular brand they carry … how to avoid those boring tiers or generic boards with rows of eyewear. Diana Sims, Buena Vista Optical, Chicago, IL

This magazine is the only one that I read cover to cover, word for word with a pen in hand to take notes. Amazing! Maria Higgins, Unique Optique, Frederick, MD

I love every issue. It is so different from the other “trade rags.” Plus, you guys are mouthy like me! Kathy Maren, Combs EyeCare & EyeWear, Western Springs, IL
