INVISION Magazine Acquires EyeInnovate, an Eyecare Marketing and Growth Conference

(PRESS RELEASE) MONTCLAIR, NJ – INVISION Magazine announced that it has acquired EyeInnovate, the eye care marketing and business growth conference. EyeInnovate was founded in 2018 by Marketing4ECPs, a digital marketing agency serving eye care professionals across North America.

EyeInnovate is the only eye care industry conference focused on helping industry pros grow their businesses through improved online and offline marketing. Past events have included keynotes from marketing leaders like Google, YouTube, Yelp and Shopify, as well as sessions from industry influencers like Dr. Justin Bazan, Dr. Alan Glazier, Dr. Darryl Glover and others. Sessions have helped retailers build skills in critical areas like effective online advertising, social media management, Google reviews, growth strategies, office design and much more.

INVISION intends to build upon EyeInnovate’s strong foundation and provide an even bigger platform for this unique event.

“Niche conferences offer both ECPs and sponsors greater value and stronger impact,” says Matthijs Braakman, publisher of INVISION and CEO of INVISION’s parent company, SmartWork Media. “EyeInnovate provides opportunities for networking and developing long-term productive professional relationships critical to the independent ECP’s success. INVISION is excited about bringing to market an innovative conference with a strong focus on providing truly useful guidance and ideas for our passionate, dedicated readers.”

Trudy Charest, co-founder of Marketing4ECPs and the EyeInnovate event, will continue to work with INVISION as a strategic partner on the event. Says Charest, “We are thrilled to remain a strategic partner with INVISION in developing the future of EyeInnovate.”

“EyeInnovate was a very personal project for me,” Charest adds. “I wanted to bring a true marketing conference to this industry and teach ECPs how to compete. We wanted to take a non-traditional approach — with quick 20-minute sessions, cutting-edge content and category experts, and hands-on training workshops. And we wanted to be sure that all attendees would leave our events with a definite action plan.”

The next EyeInnovate conference will take place in late 2020. INVISION will release details on the expanded 2020 event in the coming weeks. In the meantime, follow EyeInnovate at eyeinnovate2020.com, and @eyeinnovate on Facebook and Instagram. Or email eyeinnovate@invisionmag.com with any questions about the event.
