INVISION Supports SECO International and National Academy of Opticianry in Expansion of Virtual Education for Opticians

(PRESS RELEASE) ATLANTA – SECO International, the world’s leading annual conference providing eye care professionals with outstanding educational opportunities since 1923, is pleased to announce the partnership with the National Academy of Opticianry to expand virtual education opportunities for Opticians via the SECOUniversity.com platform.

The NAO, founded in 1963, represents over 4000 Opticians worldwide and is committed to providing opticianry education and training in a variety of formats. Their mission is dedicated solely to education and training of all Opticians.

“The NAO’s core values are rooted in providing all Opticians, beginning to advanced, the educational resources they need to succeed with quality, relevant content delivered by key thought leaders,” said Russ Tolar, president of NAO. “SECO’s mission is aligned with these values, and we are confident that our members will benefit from the partnership.”

The inaugural offering of the SECO/NAO collaboration will include three full days of ABO/NCLE accredited Opticianry online webinar education for the fall of 2020. NAO LIVE CE Saturdays powered by SECO are currently scheduled for Oct. 10, Nov. 14, and Dec. 5.

SECO and NAO are also excited to announce INVISION Magazine as the exclusive media partner for the NAO LIVE CE Saturdays powered by SECO.
