Liberty Sport Supports 32nd and Final Love Ride

There was an all-star cast this past weekend at California’s Castaic Lake for the 32nd Love Ride Grand Finale concert and festival — the largest- and longest-running one-day motorcycle charitable fundraising event in the world.

Grand Marshal Jay Leno lead the ride, alongside actors Peter Fonda, Robert Patrick, Emilio Rivera, Lorenzo Lamas, Kristy Swanson, Sean McNabb, Phillip Winchester, Mark Boone Junior, and George Gray. Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters and Social Distortion played on the main stage. The event even included the Harley-Davidson Royal Family.

The Love Ride Foundation organized the event with the support of an army of 750 volunteers, over $1,000,000 in charitable funds was raised to help veterans in need through the Wounded Warrior Project.

Riders and attendees who participated in fundraising contests won prizes such as a 2015 Harley-Davidson Black Street Glide motorcycle, an all-expense paid trip to the famous Harley-Davidson Factory and Museum in Milwaukee Wisconsin, a tour of Jay Leno’s Garage and more. Liberty Sport supported this event by providing both prescription and non-prescription eyewear to veteran riders and celebrities with motorcycle eyewear solutions from the company’s Rider Collection and Switch Collections.

Additionally, Liberty Sport featured sunglasses to outfit VIP’s in the ‘Snap Yourself Photo Booth’. “Liberty Sport was proud to have the opportunity to honor our Veterans and support our Wounded Warriors for their selfless commitment and raise awareness for these wounded and injured heroes,” says Angela Gerber, marketing manager for Liberty Sport.

After 32 years of service, this was the Love Ride’s final curtain call. In the words of the festival’s founder, Oliver Shokouh, “It’s been my honor to serve these causes for decades. I’m eternally grateful for the outpouring of support that so many gave this year as we ride off into the sunset with over $1,000,000 raised for Wounded Warrior Project and a total legacy of over $25,000,000 for charities to date.
